What We Do

Putting together the best estate plan for your family is worth seeking out the right help. There’s no fillable internet form tailored to your specific situation. The best way to ensure that you, your family, and your assets are handled as you wish is crafting a personalized estate plan with a knowledgeable attorney. What we do at Stone Legal is guide you through each step of the process. We work with you to decide which documents best suit your needs. This ensures wishes are met after you’re gone. During the process we provide the individual attention you need to create a strategic plan matching your unique wishes and requirements.

A comprehensive estate plan may include:

  • Will
  • Trust Planning
  • Financial Power of Attorney
  • Medical Power of Attorney
  • Living Will

Does the idea of sitting down with an attorney feel like something you can’t fit into your life right now? You have young children, your calendar is full of activities and it’s hard to make sure you fit in naptime? Have you thought about what would happen to your children were the unthinkable to happen and they lose both parents? While this is an exciting and busy time for your family, having a plan in place can alleviate not only your fears and worries, but also ease your child’s. Has your child asked you who they would live with if you were gone? As they get older it can help them to know who to call and what will happen.

Keep it simple

What we do at Stone Legal is simplify the process. Our Young Family plan includes a will that will name guardians for your children. You can even specify who handles finances, day-to-day care, education, and/or spiritual matters. Give us a call today. First, we send you our Young Family Organizer and make an appointment to sign your documents. Next, you fill out and return the organizer at least one week prior to your appointment and return it to us. Last, we prepare your documents and you come in to sign them. Families come in all shapes and sizes. No matter what your family looks like we can help you plan for the future. Having a plan in place can be especially helpful for blended families. Second marriages may benefit from estate planning specifying how assets are split amongst children and step-children, ensuring everything is distributed as you wish. Depending on your circumstances it may also be wise to plan before you marry with a prenuptial agreement. If you think this would be beneficial reach out to Stone Legal and we can work with you to set the next chapter of your life up for success.

Stone Legal can help protect you and your family against lawsuits and creditors. Additionally, we can address concerns around marriage and divorce. If you have questions about any of these issues for your or your loved ones, reach out to us today.
